SRC Solutions’ courses can be developed with different components to suit your specific requirements
Training is provided to groups
or individuals as required and can be built into an induction program for new
employees
We cover legislative requirements, duty holder obligations,
education on safe working practices and work health and safety (WHS) advice.
New training course for HSRs: “Transition to the WHS Legislation for HSRs”. This 3 hour course provides an overview of the new WHS legislation with a focus on the implications for the role and powers of the HSR, the Health and Safety Committee, and the organisation as a whole.
Target group: trained HSRs who require an update on the new WHS legislation. Please note: Comcare have not yet provided guidelines to enable training providers to conduct an accredited refresher HSR course, however this course will provide relevant and important information for HSRs in a short course format.
Course delivery: this course will be conducted as a public course at our training room in Phillip, at a cost of $345 (GST incl) per person. The next course is to be conducted on Wednesday 21 March 9:30am – 12:30pm (morning tea provided). Please complete the registration form and send it to us to ensure your place.
We can offer this course on-site for clients with a minimum of 10 participants. Please contact SRC Solutions for further details.

Sessions can be designed to guide and inform HR consultants about the legislative frameworks for WHS and return to work.
Working Safely
Assisting workers to identify and manage potential workplace hazards in their working environment.
Manual Handling
Sessions include risk management, safe lifting techniques, product handling, safe storage and equipment use.
Mental Health First Aid
This 12 hour course helps improve awareness in adults regarding mental health issues and teaches techniques to support people in a mental health crisis until they can access professional help.
Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety
We are a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) approved to deliver the Certificate IV in Occupational Health and Safety (BSB41407). This course is aimed at people who wish to gain a formal qualification in work health and
safety to complement their work experience.
Working safely information sessions
Information sessions to provide office based employees with the awareness and understanding of common workplace injuries. We also provide advice on strategies to minimise the risk of injury.
